:(
It's with great regret that I inform you of my need to bow out of Clipper Chicks for a while. We have had an incredible amount on our family plate as of late and with my hectic schedule something had to give. I'm so sorry.
You all have been such an inspiration to me. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement over the months. I have thoroughly enjoyed being on the sidelines as you watched your savings grow and your grocery bill shrink.
I feel like Clipper Chicks is just starting to hit it's stride and I'm really hoping that the show will go on in my absence. I am looking for some ladies who would be willing to step up in leadership for the club. I would be more than happy to assist from email in any way that I can. Any takers? Please let me know!
I hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas celebrating the birth of our Savior and I hope to be back sometime next year!
Much Love,
Teri
PS- Michele, mommy to newborn Nathan and our vice-pres, will be still be able to come to some club meetings but not on a regular basis due to her family's schedule as well. We plan to keep the blog going and welcome any info you'd like to share with us to post on the blog! Thanks!

Clipper Chicks Monday November 23rd
Hi Ladies,
2 things:
1. Our vice-pres, Michele, delivered a healthy 9lb 3oz baby boy at the Family Birth Center of Naples at 4:45 am on Sunday morning. Mother and baby are doing well and enjoying each other at home. Woo hoo!!
2. I'm so sorry I'm getting this info out so late. I just got back from a 17 day trip about 15 minutes ago and my traveling today did not go as planned. I've been up since 4 am, my kids are in full meltdown mode after our long day of travel (beginning with being dropped off at the wrong airport this morning), and I'm having a hard time constructing a cohesive sentence. :( All this to say that I will not be able to make it tonight. But please don't let this stop you from coming and bringing your favorite Black Friday deals of the week! I pray that you'll have a great time of fellowship and deal dishing this evening.
Much Love,
Teri
PS - My FAVE Black Friday site: www.blackfriday.info
They are so organized and you can search ALL ads and ALL items in one location! And check all of our links on the right, of course, for more great Black Friday deals!

You're not abandoned! A few tidbits of info
Anyone been finding any good deals they are looking for?
BTW...I am loving my blog reader because it gives me a glimpse of a ton of great deals and promotions, but I don't have to read everything, just bits and pieces. For Example...my favorite blog so far is Hip2Save. She is a posting maniac! Yesterday she posted a code for $15 off a $15 or more purchase to Nascar.com. Since my dad is a HUGE Jeff Gordon fan, I bought him a rocking cool Jeff Gordan hat and it cost me $2.99 (free shipping too). Dear hubby was proud (and thankful I'm sure).
Another good idea for Christmas, that I wish I would have thought about a month ago before I cashed in....check your credit cards for rewards points. A lot of times you can get gift cards for FREE. So...I'm going to check my cards and see if I can get a gift card to Bass Pro Shop to go along with my dad's hat (which is what he REALLY wants...he's rather have a gift card there than anything else). How great would it be to get my dad what he wants, and only spend $2.99? I'm not ashamed.
Lastly... This Saturday night is Free Family Movie Night at the Cambier Park Bandshell (downtown near 5th Ave). Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a free movie with your family. Proud sponsors are AVI (Audio Video Installations...my husband's company), Reginas, and SWFLMoms. The move being played this month is "Imagine That" starring Eddie Murphy. As always, I suggest you check it out on Plugged in Online to make sure it fits with your family's movie viewing standards. The movie starts at 7...it should be fun...and it's FREE!!!!! I really want to be there, maybe no baby? I don't know. We'll see...if not,I'll be there in December.

Black Friday
I wanted to let you know that Hot Coupon World has a whole forum dedicated to Black Friday deals. As black Friday approaches, it may be helpful for you to get a sneak peak of some of the ads to begin planning your deals. Also, some stores start Black Friday as early as Thanksgiving day (CVS). So....have fun:-)
Here's the link to Black Friday -Hot Coupon World Forums
There is not a lot of info on the forums yet, but check back between now and Thanksgiving week. Last week they had tons of info on lots of different stores.

For any of you MOPS ladies who are visting our site for the first time, please feel free to leave a comment about what you liked/didn't like about our "talk" What do you wish we would have covered more of. What was most helpful? What questions do you have now?
I was excited to hear feedback from some ladies who really have never used coupons. It was fun to see the excitement in their faces as they began to realize how they could be using their family's money more wisely. If you have any questions, please don't hesistate to leave a comment so we can help you out.

BUY LOTS OF PAPERS TODAY!!! BAYER CONTOUR COUPON
I say that for several reasons....
1. This coupon gets you a FREE Blood Glucose Meter...but more importantly, it generally helps you earn either 5 or 10 ecb at CVS. This was the deal we helped most of you start your CVSing with. $0.00 cash out of pocket, free ecb to begin using and rolling.
2.. You will probably have an opportunity to use this coupon at least 4 times before it expires (probably more).
3. Buy extras to give away, either at Clipper Chick meetings to newbies (you probably got a free one from someone at some point) OR to your other friends who are interested in couponing.
If you get this note past Sunday, never fear...you can buy newspapers at the office throughout the week. Just go to the new NDN facility on Immokalee Rd. You have to pay $1.50 for the paper, but it's well worth it (there are other great coupons this week too that I'm sure will be used).
Please please consider buying a couple extras to share the love. Thanks ladies.

Club Meeting Tonight!
Kmart Doubles is back this week for the LAST TIME this year! Check out the pic of the haul I got yesterday after 8 HOURS of shopping!!!
Come tonight to hear about all the great deals to be had this week!!
We also have some AWESOME news about Publix competitor coupons! I can't wait to tell you about it!!
****PLEASE NOTE THIS IMPORTANT CHANGE TO OUR MEETINGS****
In an effort to:
A. Not have everyone in the club listen to the same "Newbie Talk" every week for an hour,
and
B. Actually get some organizing done on my own coupons
we will be making the following change:
The "Newbie Couponer" talks will be given on the SECOND MONDAY of every month!!
Please feel free to bring a friend who's never been to the club meetings any Monday that you'd like. We'll rely on the wisdom of other club members to casually acquaint that person with beginning skills on Monday's when the "Newbie Talk" is not given.
See you tonight!!

FIVE Coupon Inserts THIS weekend
I say *might* because our region tends to not get as many coupons as others. Why? I don't know. Maybe we need to start a letter writing campaign. Any volunteers to head that up?
There are some great deals at CVS this coming week. If you want the free after extra care bucks school supplies, I suggest going on Sunday, because it seems that they are out of most things by Monday. If you don't need any supplies, get them anyway and donate them to a student in need or a school. It's a nice little way to give back.
I've also heard that KMart has double Qs coming up soon....maybe we'll get some good Qs in the paper this week to use with that:-)
Alberton's Meat Coupons
Well...it's official. We have two clipper chicks, one being Teri, who used the Albertson's meat coupons with great success. For those who don't know, Albertsons puts out crazy meat coupons such as Buy1 London Broil, get 2 Free. Yeah, you read that right. This week, their flyer has three different buy 1 get 2 free meat coupons. You'll have to head to Albertsons on the corner of Bonita Beach Road and Livingston to pick up a flyer if it wasn't delivered to your house. One Clipper Chick had success at The Strand (*gasp*) and Teri used hers at the Pebblebrooke Publix. So...happy meat buying!

Target Clearance Site
Sorry it took me so long to get this on here but here is the site you can go to for Target clearance info:
http://www.dealbeacon.com/target.htm
I haven't had the chance to verify any of these markdowns at our Target yet and how accurate this list is, but anytime I get a chance to I'll post my results. Feel free to comment if you have any experiences with this too.
Along the same lines, we talked about toy clearances happening BIG time in the month of July. KMart has a great toy coupon here for $5/$20 toy purchase and you canuse it with their clearance toys too! I'm gonna head over there sometime in the next couple days and check it out.

New Target Policy...Price Matching
According to Ginger at Attention Target Shoppers who received an official press release concerning price matching in competitor ads.
Print or save this for future reference.
As of July 12, Target stores nationwide will match advertised prices from competitors on identical items in local markets, assuring guests that our products are priced right. We've been testing Our Low Price Promise in Target stores in the Denver and Orlando markets since March 2009 and in select Minneapolis stores since May 2009.
Our Low Price Promise showcases our commitment to offering low prices and value to our guests. We’re giving our guests peace of mind that they can get a great deal at Target.
We are confident we have low prices every day. However, if our guests happen to find a lower price on an identical single item – defined as the same brand and model number that is listed on a local competitor’s printed advertisement, during the effective date of the ad – we will match that price.
We are communicating Our Low Price Promise to guests through our weekly circular – in Sunday newspapers and online. Later this summer, we will add in-store signage.
It's still too early to gauge the impact of program but so far, guests have requested very few price adjustments.
How Our Low Price Promise Works
Within seven days of purchase, guests can bring the actual printed competitor ad and a Target receipt of purchase of the same item to our in-store Guest Service area to receive a price adjustment. Photos/copies of advertisements or receipts will not be accepted.
In an effort to ensure that our checkout lanes are efficient and quick for our guests, we’ll handle price matches at our Guest Service desk. If a guest wants to do a price match in the checkout lane, our team members will ring up an item at the current price and then direct the guest to the Guest Service desk to do the price adjustment.
Price matching will apply to current, local print ads for in-store products only. Our price-match policy is not applicable to Target.com or other online ads. The following is a full list of exclusions:
- Target.com or online retail promotion
- Competitor’s Free Product
- GiftCards
- Limited quantity items
- Open box or damaged
- Clearance or closeout
- Mail-in offers
- Services (warranties, assembly, etc.)
- Bundle offers
- Special order
- Sales-tax promotions
- Liquidation/going out of business
- Special financing
- Coupons
- Used or previously owned
- Display merchandise
- Pricing or typographical errors
- Club or loyalty
We have significantly increased our emphasis on communicating value through our marketing, in-store signing and merchandise presentation. Our Low Price Promise demonstrates our commitment to offering great value to our guests.
Target remains true to our brand promise of “Expect More. Pay Less.” We’ll continue to focus our efforts on the “Pay Less” side of our brand promise, while continuing to offer our guests what has helped us differentiate ourselves from our competitors: high quality, great design, affordability, and an inviting shopping environment.
At Target, we have a long-standing commitment to being price competitive with other retailers. We also remain firmly committed to delivering the newness, innovative design and exceptional quality Target is known for.

July 13 meeting
Publix...check out Hot Coupon World for the best coupon match ups. Don't forget to print two coupons for the products
CVS....8x6 photobook are $7.99 with $7.99ecb back...which makes them FREE!!!! The ad says limit one, but according to Green Tree CVS it is limit 5 as the large in store sign states. Woohoo. Some ideas for photobooks: gift for grandparents, easy yearly scrapbook for you child(ren), make a chore chart with pictures, document your furniture and valuables for insurance purposes, scrapbook of your wedding or favorite family vacations. Seriously....these are nice little keepsakes. I bought my first one for a penny...the other 4 I make tomorrow will be free:-)
Thru Tuesday there are a ton of school supplies that are free after extra care bucks. After Tuesday, they are regular price with no ecb.
Gillette Fusion razor $7.99 with 4 ecb...there is a $4Q from June P&G if you still have it.
Staples
A pack of 500 sheets of copy paper is $.01 after easy rebate (limit 2)
There are a ton of other items that are one dollar after the rebate (including photopaper).
To use the $5/20Q that was in the Staples ad this week here is an idea....buy 2 Staples photo papers ($9.99 each) and one pack of Staples 500ct copy paper (3.99). Your total will be $23 and change. Use the $5 Q and pay $18 and change out of pocket. Fill out the easy saver rebate and get $21 and change back in rebate money. It's a $3.00 money maker:-)

Sunday 7/12 paper inserts
There will be two inserts in tomorrow's paper, a Red Plumb and a Smart Source. If you want a sneak peak of possible coupons, click here. Remember that we are in a crummy market, so we miss out on a lot of these coupons for some reason:-(
Also...I hope you've been putting together pictures for your 5 photobooks at CVS that are Free after Extra Care Bucks this coming week at CVS

Sunday's Paper - only one insert
Now...this is a chance...but in the past, I've noticed the Wednesday version of the Bonita Banner, a free publication found in public areas like the library, include the P&G insert. I may buy one paper tomorrow, and hope that the Bonita Banner has the insert later in the week.
Happy Fourth of July. Have fun celebrating:-)

2009 ALL YOU Grocery Challenge
They are challenging you to spend $25/member of your house hold/week for 4 weeks (So, if there are four of you, your budget is $100/wk). They want you to document how you spent your food money (including eating out), what your menu was like, etc. The lucky winner gets a $1,000 grocery gift card and a year's supply of Knorr's Sides.
Obviously there will be zillions (OK, maybe not zillions, but thousands) of people entering. But...how cool would it be to have a Clipper Chick win, or at least be in the top 10? I know some of you have come a LONG way in your grocery shopping just in a few months. I'd love to know if you are going to participate.
Here are some handy dandy links.

Common Couponing Mistakes
I came across this post on my feedreader and wish that I had read it a year ago when I started couponing! I myself made a few of these mistakes along the way. Read it if you get a chance. It's great advice!
Today I have a very lovely post by Angela Russell from the Coupon Project that I think will be useful to many of my reader, new to couponing or not. Enjoy!
When I first realized I could be saving a lot of money by matching coupons up with store sales and promotions, I got excited. I mean REALLY excited. I sent countless emails to friends with my finds. I “scouted out” the local Kmart a couple weeks before the rumored double coupon event to strategize. I’d fall asleep piecing together Walgreens scenarios in my head. I began seeing barcodes everywhere I looked.
In all the excitement of finding the good deals, I’ve learned a few lessons along the way. If you’re new to couponing (or even if you aren’t), please learn from my mistakes…and don’t repeat them! After doing some soul-searching, I’ve come up with a list of five mistakes I could have avoided. So here goes:
1. Trying to do EVERY deal. When my eyes were open to the world of couponing, I couldn’t believe ALL the deals I was finding…diapers, oatmeal, ground beef, canned vegetables, razors, soap, shampoo…and for some reason I felt the need to get every last one. It could be that I’m a bit of a perfectionist, or my mom would likely argue that it’s because I’m a firstborn, but whatever the reason, this shopping approach is completely unnecessary. Don’t kill yourself trying to make 18 shopping trips in a week. Deals come, deals go, other deals come. If you miss a deal, there will be others. Focus on a few that make sense for your family that week. Let the others go.
2. Feeling the need to use high value coupons – even if there is no sale. Remember, the key is to manage your out-of-pocket expenses on items your family needs and uses. When I first started clipping coupons, my heart would skip a beat when I’d find a $4 off coupon for some new-fangled room air freshener product. I MUST have that! Then I’d begin the desperate search of trying to find a sale to match it with. Sometimes I’d be successful. Other times, not so much. Bottom line: a $4 off coupon is still not a good deal if the item is $17.99 and you have no intention of using it. I’ve since learned to relax and let coupons expire if I can’t find a sale. Even good $4 off coupons.
3. Not paying attention to deadlines. So in April – the final month of the Walgreens’ Easy Saver Rebate Program, I decided to wait until the last minute to enter a rebate receipt. Guess what? I missed the deadline! And I had $10 worth of rebates. What’s more, because I didn’t submit it, the system automatically processed my rebates and sent me a check – instead of letting me select the Gift Card option which would have yielded me an additional 10%. Watch out for deadlines, keep your receipts and coupons organized. You don’t want to lose out. I still shudder to think how far $10 at Walgreens could’ve gotten me this month….!
4. Not paying attention to expiration dates. Guess what? Non-perishables are actually perishable! So when you purchase enough cans of tomato soup to last you two years, you better make sure those cans of soup will actually be good two years from now. I now check the expiration dates on everything from milk to cough drops to cans of soda. Especially pay attention if there is a REALLY good sale going on a certain item. I can think of a recent instance where a store (which shall remain nameless) was offering extremely high value coupons for a certain type of candy. When I visited the store, almost every last package had expired by more than a month! Yikes.
5. Buying stuff your family won’t use. Sure, it’s great to pick up some stuff for donations to the church pantry or homeless shelter, but remember the main purpose of couponing (at least for most of us) is to save money on your family’s grocery bill each month. So make an effort at coming home with items your family will actually eat, use, and enjoy. I can recall some of my first shopping trips where I’d come home with say, 5 boxes of allergy medicine, 2 bottles of children’s cough syrup, and 3 packages of Tucks Medicated Pads. This is great expect for the fact our family uses none of these items. Again, picking these things up is nice if they are free after coupons and you have a place in mind to donate them to, but it’s even better to focus your energy on things your family needs right now.
Learning how to shop and save wisely will take some trial and error. What I’ve noticed is that I tend to make more mistakes when I fail to see the bigger picture. Don’t get hung up over a coupon or a deal – focus instead on your monthly saving and spending goals or rounding out your pantry. And if you do make a mistake, don’t let it go to waste. Learn from it!

Monday Meeting
If you went to the meeting last night, I'm pretty sure you noticed that Teri wasn't there...and you may have noticed I wasn't either. We are both so very sorry. Teri knew she couldn't go because her husband has been studying ever so diligently for a very difficult and important test for work (pray for him...it's next Monday I believe). I was suppose to cover for Teri and give you ladies the run down of all the sales and deals for this week, however I needed to choose between going to the meeting, and being a good wife to my dear husband when he desperately needed me. Of course, he totally won out:-) I'm so thankful for a loving, faithful and supportive husband. When he comes home from work and says, "Can we put the kids down early tonight, I really need to talk about my day." That's my cue to drop everything and be there for him. I'm so thankful I was able to. Stacie stopped by my house and picked up my handy cheat sheet. Although I haven't spoken with her yet this morning...I'm thankful she was able to help out and I'm sure she did a great job. THANK YOU STACIE!
Next week...both Teri and I will be back (and you ALL know how inspiring Teri is:-)
OK...so, since we missed, I wanted to post up a few deals and links for you.
Publix...this week (taken from Hot Coupon World Forum, here)

*Wishbone dressing $.75/1 printable (print 2) $1.19/2

*There are a couple of organic items printables, including Horizon milk, and Stonyfield yogurt
*Organic strawberries are 2/$5 (you don't have to buy 2 though to get the sale price, you can just get one if you want)
CVS
There aren't any free after extra care buck deals this week, but there are some good deals with little out of pocket (I'm thinking Aveano lotion). I would suggest going here to see the best deals
Target
There are some good deals at Target this week with gift cards offered. I'm most interested in the Breyer's Icecream (does anyone have any Qs to share for this if you aren't going to use them?) We are having a sleep over soon with the college ministry, so I thought this would be a fun midnight snack. I'll end up spending $2.50 for 5 containers of icecream. Check out the Target deals here.
Staples...Cheap-o paper. So...those of you new to couponing are probably beginning to wonder about the cost of paper for all these Internet coupons your are printing. Here is a sweet deal to stock up. You can get paper for almost free (you'll have to dish out a little out of pocket, but there are some great rebates in return.)

Coupon Basics and More at It's Hip to Save
if you are new, or semi-new to the coupon clipping world, check out a little post at It's Hip2Save.
I was going to copy and paste the first paragraph to give you a sneak peek, but I can't. So, head over to here to read her little article.
She also has a couponing 101 post that is good. Find it here.
btw...I'm really hoping we can start a discussion on our own blog about ways we like to organize, clip, and file our coupons. Maybe soon:-)

6/1/09 Meeting Notes
1. I gave out a 1/2 page laminated sheet of the official, corporate coupon policy for Publix and Target. At the bottom it also has a few coupon guidelines for CVS. This sheet will hopefully come in handy as I'm sure you'll encounter a misinformed cashier (and even manager) every once in a while. The sheet has been 3-holed punch, so it should fit nicely into your binder. If you weren't there...never fear...we have more. Get it next week if you can:-)
2. Donations of overstock items. Some of you are acquiring quite a stockpile and may be feeling a need to let a few things go. The middle and high school student choir of First Baptist Church is going on a mission trip to Immokalee in two weeks. They would love to have any items you would like to donate.
a) If you have a ministry or organization that you know has a need, please feel free to share it. We will occasionally recommend a organization or ministry to donate over stockpiled items to.
3. Beth is having a clothing swap party on Saturday from 10-12:30ish at her house. Bring some clothes you don't want anymore, but you think someone else might. Come and "shop for free" and get some new, used clothes that other women have brought. There will be maternity clothes there (but only if you get there before me...hahaha!) Contact myself or Teri if you want her address.
4.Check out one of our new favorite blogs www.hip2save.blogspot.com This lady is awesome. She posts several times per day with crazy deals for almost any store imaginable.
5. CVS this week is not to exciting, however there were a few deals some were interested in (Hawaiian Tropic can be a moneymaker, Nivea for men facial products, and softsoap ensemble) If you want more of a run down on the deals we talked about last night. go to Hip2save and click on CVS on the right side bar. That was where we got the info.
6. Once again I forgot to talk about Organic sales at Publix this week. So sorry...I was to excited about the bad for you(I'm sure) Kraft Mac N Cheese and Hershey's candy bars to be thinking to organically. Hopefully when Teri takes control again next week, she won't forget:-)
7. I'm glad some of you like this blog and have found it useful. Please leave comments if you have questions or something to add. Note that I have a quick link to Publix deals (top of right column) so you don't have to find the post. I'll put a link up for other stores if there is something unbelievable that week.
8. If your on facebook, make sure you are part of The Clipper Chicks groups. I want to join facebook JUST so I can see what you all are doing...but alas...I won't.
9. Man, I wish I could come up with one more thing so I could make a list of 10.
10. Thanks for coming to our meetings. I hope they are helpful and that you are seeing a change in your grocery shopping habits.

Publix w/o 5-28- 6/3
I know a few of you have had some problems with some Publix cashiers in the past week or two (myself included). Monday at the meeting, I will have some nice cards printed up for you with some store coupon policies for you to reference if needed (as well as customer service phone numbers you can offer to call if the cashier is confused and the manager isn't helpful).
But, let me re-affirm to you that at Publix you are allowed one manufacture and one store (read that Publix or competitor grocery store...Target is usually included, but some managers may refuse) coupon per item purchased. This means, if you have a $1/1 mfg and $1/1 store Q, you can use both on one product. If there is a BOGO sale, then you can use 2 $1/1 mfg and 2 $1/1 store coupons (this is technically 4 coupons for two items purchased...even though one item is free) This is how you get the biggest savings. Also...if an items is priced 2 for $5.00, you do not have to buy 2 to get the sale price. You can get 1 item and pay $2.50 (and use a coupon of course!). If your totally confused still, because I realize that was clear as mud...please let either myself or Teri know and we'll try to clarify it more in real life on Monday.
Also...please leave comments with any other great Publix deals you find this week.
OK...a few great deals.
Hershey's Candy Bars - 6pk (Cindy...this is for you!) $3.99
Buy 2 Get 1 free hang tag (I grabed a couple, I think I have one or two left, so ask me on Monday) This means you buy 4 packs of Hershey's bars or Reece's cups and you only pay for one. Look for more coupons (usually shoved behind the candy so look hard.) If you find more coupons, grab a few extra to bring on Monday night to share please.
Taco Bell Home Orignial's dinner $2.69
Printalbe for $1/1 ( I can't print it though) but your two taco dinners would be $.69
Kraft Mac N Cheese dinner $1.19
Print for B3G1 (buy 4 for the price of one)
Nabisco Chips Ahoy $3.25
$1/1 Target Q in the newspaper a few weeks ago (use two)
Uncle Ben's $1.49
$1/2 print pay $.49/2
French's Mustard $1.39
$.50/1 print and newpaper Q (use 2) pay $.39/2
Crystal Lite $3.99
Lots of Crystal Lite printable. Check out Fiddledeedee and Hot Coupon World
Bird's Eye frozenVeggies are 50% off
I hope that jump starts your interest in Publix this week. So far, I don't think it's as great as last week, but there is still some potential. Don't forget to comment and check back often for more great deals.

CVS Field Trip 5/25
However....we did have a hard time finding Clearasil. We found one, which Sky (who is a totally newbie at CVS) was able to claim. Yay Sky! Here is a run down of Sky's transactions for those of you who want to know. *Note...I do not have her receipt so I will not have this down to the penny, but it'll be close enough.
Transaction#1
Clearasil $3.99
-2 Q
=$1.99 oop
Receive $3.99 ECB
Transaction #2
2 boxes of bandaids $5.98
-2 $1/1 Q
=$3.98 (paid with adjusted $3.99ECB from first)
Receive 4 ECB
Transaction #3
Deodorant $3.99
=paid with $4ECB from second
Received $3.99 ECB
Transaction #4
Deodorant #3.99
=paid with $3.99 ECB from third
Received $3.99 ECB
Transaction #5
Playtex Tampons $3.99
Colgate Total $2.99
-$1 Playtex peelie
-$1 Colgate Q
=$4.98
-$3.99 ECB from fourth
= $.99 oop
Received 5 ECB
Transaction #6
Revlon nail polish $3.99
-$1 Revlon Q
=$2.99 paid with $3 ECB from fifth
Received 3 ECB
So...all in all Sky paid $3.00 (and 16 cents I believe with tax) for all of that, and walked out with 5 ECB. I think that is a very respectable first trip.
The other ladies transactions were the same, except they couldn't do the first one because there was no Clearasil. They paid less oop but missed out on a great money maker.
Speaking of missing out. We were so caught up in the moment (and time...it was late) that we forgot to ask for a rain check on the Clearasil. UGH....it about made me sick and I had a hard time falling asleep, partly because of that. Stacie and Alison....I'm sorry:-(
MOST of these items were only on Sale for Sunday and Monday. Please do not go back and try this, it won't work. I don't have my flyer in front of me, but I am pretty sure the only thing left that will be free after extra bucks and coupons is the Colgate Total.
***News Flash*** There is potential $6 money maker IF you can find the right product. Neutragena has a deal this week, purchase two sun care products, get $10ECB. There are small little 1 oz tubes of sunscreen that are found in a fishbowl type container, according to Hot Coupon World...almost anywhere in the store. These little tubes are $1.99...but when you buy two, the 10ECB is printing!!!! We have found one store with evidence they once had the tubes at Bonita Beach Rd and Livingston (they were gone though last night). Every other store we've hit we have not been able to find them. Keep your eyes peeled...and if you find some, PLEASE share the news. It's only limit one, so this deal will only work once for you. We'll let you know if we find them somewhere.
Don't forget to check out the Publix post and comments with updates. I posted an easy link at the top right of the page.
Clipper Chicks will resume their regularly scheduled meeting time and location next Monday. Until then....let us know what kind of great deals you find:-)

CVS Field Trip tomorrow night
We will be meeting tonight at 9:00 at the CVS in Green tree shopping center. This is the corner of Immokalee Road and Airport Road. From there, we may have to split up a bit because we probably won't be able to find one CVS that has enough product for everyone. So...meet at Green Tree CVS at 9:00. Thanks ladies...see you tonight.
***************************************
Ok OK...I still don't have a time and location for you for our field trip tomorrow night...but this is why. Tonight I'm going to go scope out the CVS at US 41 & Pine Ridge and Teri is going to scope Vanderbilt & Airport, and maybe Greentree. After our findings, we'll decide where we think the best place to meet first will be.
Until then though...spend a few minutes tonight or tomorrow on http://www.iheartcvs.com/ and print off your coupons. Make sure you either print or have coupons cut for the following products...
Bandaids...no printable look in ss 2/8/09 or 4/26/09
Clearasile...no printable look in ss 4/19/09
Colgate Total...printable and also in All you mags and in ss 5/10/09
Playtex gentle glide 18ct or sport tampons 16 ct....printable or All you mag
Purina beggin' strips...printable (go to i heart cvs for the link because there is a code and directions for use)
Revlon color cosmetic...no printable look in ss 4/26 and 5/17
Sobe...printable (I can't print it though, so check out i heart for the link...I don't want to give you a bad one.
Those are the FAECB (Free after extra car buck) items. Please note...if you already have the coupon, but there is a printable available...would you print it to share with someone else. Maybe a newbie or someone without printer access? I already have Colgate Total Qs for myself, but I printed an extra one for a friend with no printer...so don't forget our fellow clipper chicks:-)
Check out any other sales at CVS that you might be able to use ecbs on. I know we need TP and it's on sales and there are Qs available, so I may buy that tomorow too.
Alrighty...I'll update later tonight or in the am with details about our field trip.
Oh...one more thing. If you can't come with us tomorrow night, then try to get to CVS sometime because many of these deal are ONLY Sun/Mon deals. This means no ecbs after Monday and sometimes the sale prices are void too.

Free Chocolate (every Friday)
btw...if you can't wait 6 weeks for your chocolate coupon, M&Ms are BOGO at Publix this week:-)
CVS coupon e-mailed
CVS just e-mailed a $5 off coupon that is good today through Monday. Be sure to check your coupon e-mail address for this. It'll be a great way to reduce your oop or ecb usage this Sunday and/or Monday at CVS. There are some good deals coming up.
What???? You didn't get the e-mail. Have you signed up at CVS.com? It's important to register your extra care card at CVS.com for a few reasons. One....you get coupons occasionally in your e-mail box and two...you get better coupons printed at the scanner. It just takes a moment. It's also a good idea to give CVS your phone number (home or cell) that way if you forget your card, they can look it up for you. I lost mine and they couldn't help me in the store because my phone number wasn't registered. I have never once received a call from them...so don't worry.
OK, why are you still reading this? Go to www.cvs.com and register your extra care card today:-)
Elefun
Is the coupon still available? I don't know. I printed the total quantity I was allowed and when you do that, often times the coupon looks like it disappeared. So, I can't check. But you can. I printed it from www.coupons.com Check it out and let me know if you can still print it. Cheap Cheap Cheap birthday gift.
