  1. I totally did this, girls!
I'm anxious to see how the Staples Rewards works out with the backpack. There's no rebate info to enter online with that item. You just fill out the paperwork for the Staples rewards card and when they scan your card at the beginning of your transaction their system is automatically supposed to send you a Staples gift card thing in the mail for whatever the price of your backpack is.
    We shall see.....

I got their monster package of sticky notes on sale for $2 along with the stuff in this deal. My OOP was $45.00 and I'm expecting $50 back in rebates and rewards. So...it was a $5 money maker for me! Woo hoo!

  2. Teri, I was looking at the ad, and the fine print says the backpack rebate will posted to your staples rewards card in October. So....it'll take a bit of time, just fyi.

Those of you who don't have kids in school, go ahead and get all these great cheap/free products wherever you snag them. I'm hoping to stock 2 backpacks full of great high quality items for less than $5 each and donate them to a home that takes in at risk pregnant teens. There are lots of places that I'm sure would love to have these supplies. So, if you can swing an extra buck or two, purchase them and donate. I'm sure any school or teacher would also be thrilled with a bunch of extra supplies. Just a thought:-) We are saving so much money, that it's good to give back to others if you can.
